Waikiki Park Heights

Aloha from Waikiki Park Heights!

 A Vacation and Residential Condominium

2440 Kuhio Avenue

Waikiki Park Heights is set back just a bit from Kuhio Avenue Thus, being in here is much quieter, more relaxing than you’d expect from a place in the heart of the action.

Waikiki Park Heights is ideally located on vibrant Kuhio Avenue but set back from the busy road just a bit to make things quieter and less hectic. Each apartment has two ocean-facing lanais. Enjoy the best of Waikiki here. There’s so much to do within easy walking distance — restaurants, clubs, shops, museums, Kuhio Beach, Kapiolani Park, the aquarium, the exciting new International Marketplace, and lots more.

When you’re ready to explore the rest of the island, reserved parking space can be arranged with your rental at a modest charge. However, you certainly don’t need to have a car when you stay at Waikiki Park Heights — The Bus stop is right outside the building. Our excellent bus service will take you all over this island.

Beautiful Rooms with Stunning Views

Each room has its own personality

Step onto one of the two lanais in each apartment and enjoy the spectacular scenery. Waikiki Park Heights is toward the eastern end of Kuhio Avenue, almost directly in line with the Hyatt Regency Hotel and the lush Kuhio Beach section of world-famous Waikiki Beach.

The home-like apartment will easily accommodate six people. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and there’s a pair of twin beds in the second bedroom. The third bedroom has a full bed. One bedroom opens onto its own lanai with a fabulous view.

Waikiki Park Heights Lobby
The Waikiki Park Heights lobby  is light and spacious. There’s plenty sitting room, public restrooms and a free library. The elevators require your security key to get to the residential floors. At the right end of the lobby is the manager’s office, where you’ll register after getting your keys. At the entrance to the lobby is a prestigious steakhouse restaurant. If you don’t feel like cooking or just heating something in the microwave, you might enjoy a “fine dining” experience without ever leaving the building.

Life at Waikiki Park Heights

The living is easy at Waikiki Park Heights!

Waikiki Park Heights Interior

Spacious 3-Bedroom Apartment

The large apartments offers an opportunity for groups to enjoy togetherness as well as to enjoy a modicum of privacy.

Sit on the couch and look to the ocean or at the TV — almost pictured across from the couch in the lower left corner of this picture. Or step onto the lanai and watch the amazing parade of aircraft, ships, boats and people passing by.

Whatever you like to do, you’re sure to enjoy doing it in one of our three‑bedroom Waikiki Park Heights apartments.

Waikiki Park Heights Kitchen

Full Kitchen

Most vacationers enjoy the convenience of eating at least some of their meals “at home.” Enjoy breakfast on the lanai or grill a piece of fresh fish in the kitchen. Perhaps you’d like to have a romantic dinner or just reheat leftovers from your favorite restaurant. Whatever you do, you won’t be hungry — or inconvenienced — when you stay in our unit.

Perhaps we’re gadget freaks! Among other things waiting for you, there’s a toaster, coffee maker, coffee grinder, rice cooker, choice of electric or manual can openers, and several other kitchen aids. Come try them out!

Waikiki Park Heights Pool

Luxury Bathrooms

Ah, the luxury of climbing into this deep tub after taking your shower! The bathrooms here are a little unusual–to Americans, anyway. Originally built as a Japanese hotel, Waikiki Park Heights features a furo (Japanese soaking tub) as well as a stall-type shower.

The toilet is in a separate room. Both rooms have mirrors and washbasins.

Normally, one doesn’t rave about the bathroom in a vacation residence, but this one is so unusual and so enjoyable that it merits discussion.

Waikiki Park Heights Pool

Salt-Water Pool

Grab some towels and liven up this scene! Our salt-water pool is refreshing and sheltered from the wind. Take along a good book (we have a few you might enjoy in the apartment) and put your favorite cold beverage in one of the plastic cups you’ll find in the cabinet then head downstairs to catch some rays. Be careful not to get sunburned, though — the Hawaiian sun is strong.

Another day, when you’re feeling a little more ambitious, walk over to world-famous Waikiki Beach and see why it’s so popular. Then, when you don’t want to be surrounded by people, take another dip in our quiet pool!

Which Bedroom Would You Prefer?

Waikiki Park Heights Master Bedroom

The Master Bedroom

The master bedroom is at the mauka (mountain) end of the apartment. When the drapes are drawn, it is quite dark. The happy Hawaiian sun won’t wake you up too early or prevent an afternoon nap. The closet and the bed are both oversize. Move in and make yourself at home!
Waikiki Park Heights Second Bedroom

Large 2nd Bedroom

Across the hall is another large bedroom. With the wicker furniture and a lithograph of Hawaiian opihi pickers (not shown), this room has a definite Hawaiian feel.

No two apartments are alike. Whichever of our three wonderful 3‑bedroom apartments you occupy, you’re sure to be comfortable and relaxed.

Waikiki Park Heights Spectacular View Bedroom

Spectacular View

Located off the living room and separated with a sliding wall, one bedroom has its own lanai. In some of our apartments there’s a full bed in the bedroom with the lanai. In our others, there’s a pair of twin beds. Either configuration, lucky is the person who can drift off to sleep under the Hawaiian moon. Of course it has a spectacular view of Kuhio Beach, one of the nicest parts of Waikiki beach.
Waikiki Park Heights Unique Styles Bedroom

Unique Styles

Each apartment has a king size bed in the master bedroom, a pair of twins in another and a full bed in the third.

As you can see, Waikiki Park Heights is designed so that up to six people can enjoy themselves. It is amply spacious for everyone to be together for meals or to enjoy the magnificent views.

On the other hand, there are rooms and lanais that individuals can retreat to for a nap or just a moment of quiet solitude.

Look up to see airplanes, helicopters and parasailors.

Waikiki Park Heights Living Room Entertainment

Take It Easy

So much to see and do in Waikiki, but don’t forget to relax, unwind. There are books aplenty throughout the apartment. There are tour books, guide books, novels set in Hawaii and plenty of other things to read, in Japanese and English.

The cable TV provides an astounding variety of things to watch, and there’s a DVD player, too.

You never know — you might find decks of cards or a jigsaw puzzle or a board game.

Our Waikiki Park Heights apartments give new meaning to the cliché, “home away from home.”
